Making your own ear wires, why and how?
We have a lot of instructions on how to make your own ear wires. We have many patterns for making ear wires that are unique and different from anything that you can purchase in a store. The reasons for our efforts to designs many different styles of ear wires are as follows: 1. cost, 2. form, and 3. availabliity. Cost is our primary reason because purchasing ear wires costs a lot. We believe that you can make an ear wire for much less than would be required to purchase the same ear wire. Form is our second criteria. By form we mean that we can make ear wires that are different and add design appeal to your project. We can make ear wires that better integrate with your earring body, bu using common beads in both the ear wire and the earring body. We also believe that we can make ear wires that have properties that will allow them to stay on the wearer's ear better than the standard, commercial ear wires. Our final criteria is availability. We always have 20 gauge wire available to make earrings, we frequently find that we are out of commercial ear wires and therefore we make our own.
