Jewelry Making Supplies On Sale:

We update the jewelry supplies that we have "On Sale" with every newsletter.  A small sample of the products we have for sale at discounted prices are shown below.  Please click on any of the text below the pictures to view our entire list of sale items.  Select the picture itself to view that specific item in our Internet store.  This sale will be effective through August 5th, 2005 or until we run out of that item.

Free Jewelry Making Design:

With every newsletter we provide a new jewelry design from WigJig University to spur the creative juices.  The new design for this newsletter is the design for the Smile Yoke Necklace shown at right.  This yoke or centerpiece for a necklace can be incorporated into our Interchangeable Necklace design or made as the center piece in a conventional necklace.  The yoke is made on our WigJig Centaur, Cyclops or Electra with a combination of 18 gauge and 20 or 21 gauge wire.  This yoke uses two simple to make wire components rather than one more complex component.  The design is strong and the shape will be permanent given normal wear.

The Smile Yoke jewelry making project is an advanced beginner's project.  If you are comfortable making bead dangles and wire components on our WigJig tools, you should have no problems making this necklace.

Past Jewelry Making Techniques:

We maintain a techniques web page that provides links to the discussion of techniques in our prior newsletters.  You can visit this web page here.  Follow the links on that page to the discussion of the technique in that newsletter. Campbell's Earring Jewelry Stand -- Jewelry Making Project made out of jewelry wire shaped on WigJig jewelry tools.

Current Jewelry Making Technique:

This weeks jewelry technique is a discussion on how to make stands for the display of your jewelry.  At this point we have directions for making two different kinds of earrings stands.  In a later newsletter we will add directions for making a necklace and/or bracelet stand.  These stands are inexpensive, interesting and somewhat rustic.  They look home made, but what better way to display home made earrings!  The stands have small hangers on them that can accommodate almost any kind of earring.    Please select the picture at right to view our instructions for making an earring stand.

We are continuing to improve our newsletter, so please feel free to provide feedback at
