WigJig Jewelry Tools Presents our Jewelry Making Newsletter for 4/5/2004

This newsletter is being submitted out of our normal cycle because we have updated one of the designs posted in our last newsletter.  We have modified our design for a braided bracelet because we found a better way.  The old web pages for this design have been replaced with our new approach.  For those of you who want to make the braided bracelet, please use our new instructions.  You can find these instructions here, or you can select the picture several paragraphs below.

We update the jewelry supplies we have "On Sale" with every newsletter.  A small sample of the products we currently have for sale at a discount are shown below.  Please click on any of the text below the pictures to view our entire list of sale items.  Quantities are limited for these items so please shop early.  This sale will be effective through April 8, 2004.

With every newsletter we provide a free jewelry making design from WigJig University to spur the creative juices.  This newsletter's free designs are the designs for a braided wire bracelet and ring.  Instructions for these jewelry making projects can be found by selecting the picture or the name at right.  This design was updated on Sunday, April 4th.

Past Jewelry Making Techniques:

We maintain a jewelry making techniques web page that provides links to the discussion of techniques in our prior newsletters.  You can visit this web page here.  Follow the links on that page to the discussion of the technique in that newsletter.  You will need to scroll down to view the techniques section in each prior newsletter.

Jewelry Making Technique:

This newsletter's jewelry making technique is how to make the ear cuff shown at right.  This is an earring that can be worn in addition to a stud earring as shown at right, or can be worn alone.  This ear cuff does not require pierced ears.  We show several patterns for ear cuffs similar to this, from plain gold rings to several unique shapes.  This ear cuff is a very easy piece to make and for this reason and the fact that it does not require pierced ears, is an excellent children's project.  Instructions for making this ear cuff can be found by selecting here, or by selecting the picture at right.  These ear cuffs can be made on any WigJig with two metal pegs and one 3/4" or 5/8" Super Peg.
