Customer Testimonials

I am even happier that I previously stated now that I've had some time to 'play' with my new WigJig items.  My wedding project is progressing nicely and it's thanks to your terrific products.  I have to admit that I originally bought the Olympus Lite but was deterred from purchasing the extra pegs because of cost... Well, I bought Beadalon's Jig-a-ma-Thing because it had larger pegs and was so much cheaper.  Yeeaah.  I learned my lesson (and got an earful from my tradesman husband about the importance of having 'quality tools') because the Thing-a-ma-Jig pegs actually WIGGLE and MOVE while you wrap wire.  It does NOT create consistent designs.  So, I might as well have just thrown those dollars out the window!  But, I learned my lesson and now can't say enough about your product:  it is fantastic!
Lauren (May 2008)

I recently decided to learn how to make jewelry so that I could have unique and special gifts to give to friends and family.  I purchased a WigJig Delphi because I had read the rave reviews about them.  The results that I got from the WigJig are spectacular!  I took a couple of my first pieces to some friends at school just to get a second opinion on my skills and now I am taking orders!

I also purchased another vendors jig from a local craft store.   I tried to use the other jig, but it was futile, as the designs looked horrible.  (That jig will be going back to the store!)

Thank you for the great product and website.  Keep up the good work!!!!
Wendy (December 2006)

I recently ordered the Centaur with the Spiral Maker and I love it.  I had one of those aluminum ones with the pegs that kept falling through the bottom every time I picked it up.  I must say that your jigs are much better quality.  I tried some of your patterns after getting my new jig and they were so much easier than the old metal jigs.  Thank you so much for all your free patterns and instructions.
Patti (November 2005)

I recently bought my first WigJig jewelry making tools (I ordered the Olympus Lite and the Delphi) and I have to tell you how much I LOVE them!!  What a difference a quality jig makes.  Initially, I bought an inexpensive jig at a local craft store and was very unhappy with the results I was getting.  (Could I REALLY be that bad at wire work?)  So I ordered your products and the FIRST design I tried came out perfectly.  I just have to say thanks for inventing such a great product and keeping the prices reasonable.

Jewelry Making Tool Kit by WigJig
WigJig Jewelry Tool Kit
(Item 4000)
Our WigJig Jewelry Tool Kit has the four basic tools required for making jewelry by hand in a convenient nylon wallet.  The items included in this kit are our round nose pliers (Item 4001), our bent chain nose pliers (Item 4002), our chain nose pliers (Item 4007) and our economy cutter (Item 4006) in our vinyl wallet (Item 4008).  Three of these tools are permanent tools that we use ourselves every day.  The economy flush cutter is an inexpensive tool and we recommend that you will ultimately want to replace this tool with our Flush Cutter Ultra (Item 0356).

Not included in the kit, but also tools that a beginner will want are our fine step jaw pliers (Item 4003), nylon jaw pliers (Item 4004), and bent closing pliers (Item 4005).  These tools are shown below.

WigJig Round Nose Pliers Jewelry Making Tool
WigJig Round Nose Pliers
(Item 4001)

Tips of WigJig Round Nose Pliers Jewelry Making Tools

These round nose pliers provide smaller, finer tips allowing you to make small and delicate wire components.  The jaws are 16mm long.  These shorter jaws have less twist when making loops close to the tips and therefore allow making smaller loops more consistently..  At the tips, the jaws are slightly less than 1mm wide.  This allows you to make smaller loops consistently.  We believe that these round nose pliers provide the best functionality available at any price.  These pliers are 5" long.  (New Low Price!  Formerly $17.95.)

WigJig Bent Chain Nose Pliers Jewelry Making Tool

WigJig Bent Chain Nose Pliers
(Item 4002)

WigJig Bent Chain Nose Pliers Jewelry Making Tool

These bent chain nose pliers have a tip that is 1mm wide.  We believe that this narrow tip is important when grasping a loop to make a wrapped loop.  The jaws of these pliers are approximately 28mm long.  Just like the round nose pliers above, we believe that these pliers provide the best functionality available at any price.  These pliers are 5 1/2" long.  (New Low Price!  Formerly $21.95)

If this item is out of stock, we suggest that you consider item 2828 here.

WigJig Fine Step Jaw Pliers
(Item 4003)

These pliers make loops of defined sizes without marking the wire on the outside of the loop.  This is because the flat jaw on the pliers spreads the gripping force and does not mark the wire.  The first step is 1/16", the size of the peg for the WigJig Delphi, Cyclops and Centaur.  The second step is 3/32" the size of the peg for the WigJig Olympus, Olympus Lite or Electra.  The third step is 9/64".  The jaws of these pliers are 27mm long.  If you want to reduce tool marks on your jewelry, we strongly recommend this tool.  We make the initial loop on every  piece of jewelry that we make using these tools.  These pliers are 5 1/2" long.  (New Low Price!  Formerly priced at $14.85)

If this item is out of stock.  We suggest that you consider our item 2774 here.

WigJig Nylon Jaw Pliers Jewelry Making Tools
WigJig Nylon Jaw Pliers
(Item 4004)

WigJig Nylon Jaw Pliers Jewelry Making Tools

We use nylon jaw pliers for straightening wire before we use it to make a jewelry component and for flattening and hardening the wire component after we have shaped it on one of our WigJig jewelry tools.  These pliers are 5 1/2" long.  (New Low Price!  Formerly priced at $19.95)

WigJig Bent Closing Pliers Jewelry Making Tools
WigJig Loop Closing Pliers
(Item 4005)

WigJig Loop Closing Pliers Jewelry Making Tool

These pliers are used for closing a small opening in a loop without marking the wire.  There are grooves in the face of the jaws of these pliers.  These grooves allow you to grip the sides of a loop in a piece of wire without having the wire slip.  Then you can gently squeeze the loop to close any gap.  These pliers are 5" long.  New low price!

WigJig Economy Flush Cutter Jewelry Making Tool
WigJig Economy Flush Cutter
(Item 4006)

WigJig Economy Flush Cutter Jewelry Making Tool

Economy Flush Cutter.  This cutter is an inexpensive flush wire cutter.  We don't recommend this cutter for serious wire workers.  We recommend our Flush Cutter Ultra (Item 0356) for serious wire workers.  These pliers are designed for beginners to making jewelry with wire and beads.  This cutter is 5" long.

WigJig Chain Nose Pliers Jewelry Making Tools
WigJig Chain Nose Pliers
(Item 4007)

These straight chain nose pliers have flat smooth jaws for grasping and holding wire.  They make a great second pair of chain nose pliers for someone who has already purchased our best chain nose pliers, the bent chain nose pliers shown above.  These pliers are 5" long.

WigJig Jewelry Tool Wallet for holding your jewelry making tools.
WigJig Jewelry Tool Wallet
(Item 4008)
WigJig Vinyl Wallet with 8 pockets for holding your jewelry making tools.  This jewelry tool wallet is 7 1/2" tall and 14 1/2" long.
