Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making Project -- Page 1

This jewelry making project uses the approach that we like to emphasize.  It is easier to make two simple components and connect them rather than to try to make one more complex component.  In this case we make two triangular wire components and connect them to make the earrings shown left and right.  In the case of these earrings, the top triangle has only one loop, at the top, while the bottom triangle has three loops.  We will provide instructions on how to make both wire components and we will call them the one loop triangle and the three loop triangle. 

These earrings could be made with two one loop triangles, but then instead of three bead dangles at the bottom, you would only have one bead dangle at the bottom.  We will describe this alternative in our alternative designs section.  We will also present a design alternative that uses an equilateral triangle and is therefor essentially a Star of David. 

This is a beginners jewelry making project and could be made using any of our WigJig tools.  The Star of David alternative requires one of our round patterned jigs like our WigJig Centaur, Cyclops or Electra.

• Ability to make a loop in wire.
• Ability to cut wire with with a flush cutter.
• Ability to straighten wire with nylon jaw pliers.
• Ability to make a bead dangle.
• Ability to use our WigJig tools to make wire components.
