Triangle Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings --
A Beginner's Jewelry Making Project -- Page 1

These earrings are called Triangle Earrings because the main wire component at the bottom of the earrings is made in the shape of a triangle and because we ran out of imagination and could not come up with a better name.  This is a beginner's jewelry making project and is suitable for jewelry crafters with almost no experience.  Because this is a beginners project, we will try to provide instructions that are slightly more detailed than we would provide for a more advanced project.

This project uses a concept in jewelry making that we like to emphasize.  The shape that we make here is rather complex and it would be very hard (but not impossible) to make these earrings if you tried to make them with one piece of wire.  By contrast, we are able to make these earrings rather easily by connecting several small, easy to make components.  In addition, because we connected several small components, these earrings have the added benefit of motion in several ways as each connection in the earrings is effectively a hinge that allows the earring to move at that location.  The wire components that we will make are a triangular wire component at the bottom of the earring body and two spacer bar wire components connecting between the triangular wire component and a jump ring at the top of the earrings.  The jump ring at the top of the earring body connects to our ear wire finding.
