Oval Links Jewelry Wire and Beads Bracelet Jewelry Making ProjectThis jewelry making project is a relatively simple bracelet design and is suitable for intermediate wire workers who have been successful in making other jewelry projects.   We call this bracelet Oval Links Jewelry Wire and Beads Bracelet for the obvious reason that the bracelet is made up of oval links of wire, with beads added to the center of each oval wire link.  Because of the way that we made this bracelet, it is rather strong and should not pull apart.

Because this is an intermediate wire working project, we won't provide directions on basic skills for making jewelry.  The directions will assume that the reader understands the basic skills.  Where we reference a skill that isn't understood completely, you can find our directions for performing the basic jewelry making skills here.

We made this bracelet using our WigJig Centaur.  After making the bracelet on the Centaur, we realized that it would have been easier to make on our WigJig Olympus or Olympus Lite.  The reason for this is simple, the regular metal pegs for the Olympus or Olympus Lite are larger than the pegs for the Delphi and therefore would make a larger loop on either end of the oval link.  If you have an Olympus or Olympus Lite, we suggest that you use them for this project.  If you don't have an Olympus or Olympus Lite but have a WigJig Delphi or Centaur, those jigs will work, but you may find that you will want to connect the oval links with one figure 8 connector, instead of the two figure 8 connectors shown in the picture.
