  We
put a lot of thought into how we name our jewelry projects. Each
project has its own name. For the earrings shown here, we made
these earrings the first time at the Tucson International Gem and Jewelry
Show. Many people at the show saw the earrings and said they looked
like teardrops. We could not name the earrings Teardrop Earrings for
the simple reason that this reminds us of a Country and Western song and
is just too sad. Since the first person to wear these earrings was
Lisa, one of our favorite earring models, and the earrings were made
specifically for her initially, we have named the earrings and
matching pendant -- Lisa's Earrings/Pendant. The design is similar,
but much larger than our Falling
Raindrop Earrings.
While we are on this topic -- do you know what happens if you play a
Country and Western song backward? When you play a Country and
Western song backward, your dog comes home, your wife leaves your best
friend and moves back in with you, and your pick-up truck gets fixed.
