Design Alt 3 to 150 Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making Project This jewelry making project is a very simple design and is suitable for advanced beginners who have been successful in making other projects. The name for these earrings stems from the fact that these earrings are a significant modification to a pair of earrings that were observed for sale in a jewelry shop in the Bahamas. While these earrings are not a copy of those earrings, they are actually more complex and more costly to make. The original earrings observed in the Bahamas were for sale at $150.

We have several alternative designs for these earrings. Some of the alternative designs involve making your own ear wires using our Oval Ear Wire design.

Jewelry Making Supplies	Tools Required
One pair of commercial ear wires. 9 inches of 18 or 20 gauge round, soft jewelry wire. 4 inches of 22 gauge round, half-hard jewelry wire. Two 8mm round crystal beads Two head pin findings. 3 inches of fine commercial chain	Flush cutter . Round nose pliers Bent chain nose pliers (2) Nylon jaw pliers Fine Step Jaw Pliers Any WigJig Jewelry Making Tool 3/4" Super Peg for the Centaur, Cyclops or Electra (In set of Large Round Super Pegs.) Or you can use a WigJig Spiral Maker. Ruler 20 minutes of free time

Skills Required:

Ability to make a loop in wire.

Ability to bend wire to make wire components on a jewelry making jig.

Ability to open and close loops.

Ability to make a modified figure 8 connectors.

Ability to cut with with a flush cutter.

Ability to straighten wire with nylon jaw pliers.
