This alternative design for a jewelry wire watchband uses the links
described in pages 2-4 along with a link that we call
In the watch shown above-right, the watch face combines gold-tone and silver-tone metal. For this reason, we combined large gold links made on our WigJig jewelry making tools with small wrapped figure 8 connectors made in silver to mimic the combination of colors in the watch face. We used a spring ring clasp for the watchband along with a silver guard chain. For a monotone watch face, we would use the same metal for the large links and the wrapped figure 8 connector, but we would use 18 gauge wire for the large links and 20 gauge wire for the wrapped figure 8 connectors. We think you will like this jewelry wire watch band. We gave a watch to each of our female relatives this Christmas. They were very well received and made great gifts. |
