Step 16 to Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 16:  Bend the bottom 1/3 of both triangular wire components up about 45 to 60 degrees as shown at right.Step 17 to Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Jewelry Making Project

Step 17:  With both wire triangles bent as shown, invert one of the triangles so that you can position the two wire components as shown at left.  With one triangle with the bend pointing up and the other triangle with the bend pointing down, the two triangles will go together easily.

Step 18 to Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Jewelry Making ProjectStep 18:  Push the two triangles together as much as possible and then set the design in its final position by using your nylon jaw pliers.  Squeeze the two wire components in your nylon jaw pliers to flatten them into the position shown at left.  This is the completed earring body.  Make a second earring body by following exactly the same steps.

Step 19 to Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 19A to Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 19:  We complete these earrings by adding three bead dangles to each of the loops at the bottom of the earrings.  The bead dangles can be added either as open loop bead dangles or as wrapped loop bead dangles.  You can find instructions on how to make a bead dangle here.

Step 20:  The final step is to add an ear wire at the top of the earrings.  Because of the two loops superimposed at the top of the earrings, the wire is thick enough that a normal commercial ear wire won't fit through both loops.  There are two options here.  One, you can make your own ear wire as we did here, with larger than normal loops at the bottom, or two you can make and connect a modified figure 8 connector between the earring body and a commercial ear wire.  The process for making a modified figure 8 connector is described here.

On the following pages we will discuss some alternative designs.
