Step 11 to Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectStep 11:  For this three loop triangle wire component, the finished piece will be flatter and more aesthetically pleasing if you flip the wire over before making the next loop.  To do this, add peg 3 to the pattern and remove the wire from the jig.  Replace the wire on the jig with the initial loop on peg 1, but with the second loop now on peg 3 as shown at right.  Step 12 to Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making Project.

Step 12:  Now wrap the wire completely around what was peg 2 as shown at left.  Continue pushing the wire until it rests adjacent to peg 1.  This may require lifting the wire over peg 1 slightly so that you can push the wire beyond peg 1.  The goal is that the wire should rest in the position shown with no pressure applied to the Step 13 to Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings Jewelry Making Projectwire.

Step 13:  We complete our work on the jig by wrapping the wire tightly around peg 1 as shown at right.  Step 14 to Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Jewelry Making Project

Step 14:  Remove the wire from the jig and cut the excess wire.  Close the final loop just as you did in the first triangle component.  When completed the three loop triangle wire component should appear as shown at left.  Step 15 to Triangle Links Jewelry Wire & Beads Jewelry Making Project

Step 15:  Connecting these two flat triangular wire components is essentially impossible as long as they remain flat.  The magic in making it easy to connect the two wire components is to bend the bottom of the triangles up as shown at right.  This is done using your fine step jaw pliers, gripping the triangle about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the triangle and bending that portion of the triangle up about 45 degrees.
