Step 13:  At this point we are ready to assemble the bracelet.  Connect two square knot links together using a 6mm bead and 21 or 22 gauge wire to make a wrapped bead link.  Instructions for making a wrapped bead link can be found starting here.  Continue connecting the square knot wire components using 6mm beads.  Ultimately, you will have five square knot wire components connected by four wrapped bead links. 

Step 14:  You are ready to connect your commercial clasp to either end of your square knot chain.  Use 6mm beads and the wrapped bead link as you did in step 13 to connect the clasp to the chain you have made.  You can use one end of the wrapped bead link as the catch for your commercial clasp.  If you decide to do this, just make that loop in the wrapped bead link larger than you would normally.   

ALTERNATIVE BRACELET DESIGN:  

The design shown at right uses four 8mm Swarovski amethyst beads and two 4mm Swarovski methyst beads instead of the six 6mm beads used above.  The steps involved in making this bracelet are essentially the same as the 14 steps described above with the only exception being that the beads used to connect the five square knot wire components are 8mm beads and the beads used to connect the commercial clasp to the chain are 4mm beads.  In the case of this bracelet, since we used a filigree clasp which is not as stable as the lobster clasp used in the first bracelet, we used a 3" guard chain connected to either side of the clasp just in case the clasp should open accidentally.
