![]() Bracelet Design:
Step 1: Using your flush cutter, cut 10 segments of 20 gauge
wire, each 2 1/8 to 2 1/4" long. (Half hard jewelry wire is
preferred if available.)
Step 2: Using your bent chain nose pliers, grasp the
wire about 5/8" from one end and make a 90 degree bend in each segment of
wire.
Step 3: Using your round nose pliers, make a loop in the wire
as near the bend as possible. Once you have completed the loop,
adjust the position of the loop so that it is centered above the long wire
tail. This is done by placing your round nose pliers inside the loop
all the way and bending the loop left or right as required until is it
centered.
Step 4: Now we are ready to wrap this loop closed. Grasp the loop firmly with your bent chain nose pliers. This preserves the round shape of the loop while you wrap. While grasping the loop, bend the short wire tail back 180 degrees.
