Earrings Design Alternatives:   

We have several earrings design alternatives.  The first and most obvious is to make an earring using the basic double spirals wire component and the 2:1 connector between that component and the ear wire.  The instructions for making that 2:1 connector can be found on page 6 of these instructions.  A picture of this earring is shown near right.  The earring is finished at the bottom with three 6mm beads on head pins.  For the middle 6mm bead, we wanted it to hang slightly lower than the two outside beads so we added a 2x4mm bugle bead on top of the 6mm crystal bead.  Any small beads, seed beads or bugle beads would work just so that the middle 6mm bead is slightly lower than the outside 6mm beads.  You could also use three 4mm beads instead of three 6mm beads for a slightly different visual effect.
