| Alternative Designs Continued: This alternative design is rather
simple to comprehend. We use two five loop V shaped wire components,
instead of one five loop and one three loop. The earrings shown at
right are made to be shorter than the earrings shown on page 13 because
they use the Post with Loop ear wire finding, the Short Yoke component and
fewer 2x4mm bugle beads. |

| These earrings are made using the same steps described previously only you make two five loop V shaped wire components and use the pattern for the Short Yoke. After making and connecting the yoke to the first five loop V shaped wire component, you connect your bead dangles to the middle loop on each side of the V shaped wire component. Now you connect the center loop on the first V shaped wire component to the center loop on the second V shaped wire component using a wrapped bead link with 2 1/2" of 22 or 24 gauge wire. Add one 2x4mm bugle bead below the 6mm bead on this wrapped bead link to allow sufficient space between the two V shaped wire components. Then, one at a time, connect the outside loops on the V shaped wire components by similar wrapped bead links with a 6mm bead and a 2x4mm bugle bead. Once the two V shaped wire components are connected, add the bead dangles to the bottom of the second five loop V shaped wire component. Finish this earring by adding your ear wire at the top of the yoke. Our professional earring critic (my wife) likes this design for shoulder duster earrings the best. |
