| Alternative Designs Continued:
This alternative design is for "Shoulder Duster Chandelier Earrings". These are earrings that hang down further and are therefore more dramatic. The Shoulder Duster Earrings shown at right use the long yoke pattern and the V shaped wire component that we discussed earlier and add a small, three loop V shaped component at the bottom to create the extra length. |

| These earrings are made using 2 3/4" of wire for the five
loop V shaped wire component, 2 1/2" of wire for the long yoke and 2
inches of wire for the three loop V shaped component. Make all three
wire components using the instructions provided earlier, remembering to
flip the five loop V shaped wire component over after making the third
loop.
Six head pins are required per earring along with about 15 inches total of 22 gauge wire. For the earrings shown at right, 8 6mm beads and 10 2x4mm bugle beads were used per earring. When making these earrings, connect the five loop V shaped wire component to the yoke component by opening the loops on both the yoke and the V shaped wire components. Close the loops once they are connected. Now add your first bead dangle consisting of one 6mm bead plus one 2x4mm bead on a head pin to the center loop in the five loop V shaped wire component. |
