Step 12: Now we begin to assemble these earrings. Open one loop on the end of the V shaped wire component and add the loop on one end of the handle wire component. Then close that loop. Step 13: Now on the opposite end of the handle and V shaped wire
components, open both loops. Combine both loops and then close both
loops. The handle should now be connected to the V shaped wire
component. |

| Step 14: Now using a head-pin and 6mm beads, add
five bead dangles, one to each loop in the V shaped wire component.
Visit here for instructions on how to
make a bead dangle.
Step 15: Open the loop in your ear wire finding and add this finding to the top of the handle on the "shovel". Once it has been added, close that loop. Step 16: In three of the four earrings shown at right, about 2 inches fine gauge wire (20 to 24 gauge) was wrapped around the handle on the shovel so that the ear wire finding could not slide down. Begin this wrap by making a small U in your wire. Squeeze this U against one side of the handle wire component with your bent chain nose pliers. After squeezing, hold the wire in place with your pliers and wrap about 2 or 3 times. Cut both ends in back and squeeze them with your pliers to finish. |
